Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Kim Soloman (Dentist)
Dr. Soloman has operated Rochford Family Dental since 2010. Prior to that, she practiced for 5 years in Crapaud, and for one year in Montague, PEI. A graduate of UPEI (Psychology) and Dalhousie University School of Dentistry (where she received the American Academy of Periodontology Award), Dr. Soloman loves feeling that she can help to improve an individual’s confidence and self-esteem by bringing out her or his beautiful smile! She wants everyone to know that in this day and age there is no need for anyone to hide a smile or feel embarrassed about it – anything is possible. Dr. Soloman has continued on to receive advanced training in specialized dental procedures that allow her to offer unique services to her patients.
This includes having worked closely with Dr. Coco Garcia and International Straight Wire for training in orthodontics (braces) as well as becoming a certified Invisalign provider. She also trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Esthetics and Neuromuscular Dentistry. She is trained in Sleep Medicine/Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Soloman has also taken special training at the University of Toronto in Periodontal Surgery.
A native of Souris, Dr. Soloman now lives in Stratford and also spends time at her cottage near Georgetown. She has a busy household with three kids with whom she loves to spend time! She and her husband and kids love the outdoors, especially biking, and in her down time Dr. Soloman also likes to relax with a good book.
Dr. Soloman takes enormous pride in her staff’s commitment to learning and feels that this is what sets Rochford Family Dental apart. She leads by example, investing much of her time in the continuing education process for both herself and her staff. She believes strongly in staying up to date on new information, equipment, and techniques that make the dental experience a more positive one for her patients, and is committed to offering the best possible results in oral health.
Dr. Lynn-Marie Nantes (Dentist)
Dr. Nantes joined Rochford Family Dental as an Associate in 2013 and became a Partner in 2015.
Dr. Nantes is from the rolling hills of Kelly's Cross, and currently resides in East Royalty, Prince Edward Island. She graduated on the Dean's List with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Prince Edward Island with a major in chemistry, a minor in biology and a minor equivalence in psychology. Dr. Nantes then studied at Canada's leading doctoral university, McGill University in Montreal, in the Doctor of Dental Medicine program and earned her DMD degree.
Dr. Nantes has dedicated continued education hours in dental topics including nitrous oxide and oral sedation, esthetic dentistry, sleep dentistry, and she is a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Nantes is focused on achieving the best treatment for her patients’ dental needs and strives to ensure each patient understands the importance of oral health and its critical connection to overall health. Dr. Nantes is looking forward to looking after your oral health!
Chelsey Arsenault (Dental Assistant Level II)
Growing up in Summerside, Chelsey was always interested in dentistry. She pursued that interest by becoming a Dental Assistant, training at Holland College in Charlottetown. We were happy to welcome her to Rochford Family Dental in 2012.
Chelsey is a great multitasker, not only carrying out dental assisting duties but also frequently covering the reception desk at our clinic as well.
She enjoys the continuing education opportunities offered to staff at Rochford Family Dental and feels that the many courses and additional training undertaken by the team help to make patients’ experiences more positive. She has had special training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Esthetics and Neuromuscular Dentistry, and in Invisalign and Sleep Dentistry.
In her spare time Chelsey likes to read and to spend time with friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews!
Yvonne Tuplin (Dental Assistant Level II)
Yvonne has been assisting Dr. Soloman since 2009 in Crapaud, and moved with her to the Charlottetown practice in 2010. Having sought a career that offered the opportunity to work closely with others in a health-related field, Yvonne was trained at Career Canada College in Hamilton Ontario (Level I), and University of Western Ontario (Level II). She has also trained at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Esthetics and Neuromuscular Dentistry.
Yvonne highly values the quality of the work provided at Rochford Family Dental, as well as the knowledgeable and close-knit team that makes it all happen here. She is also proud of the fact that this office offers many unique and specialized services, such as Orthotics (TENS), sleep appliances, and Invisalign, as well as ITERO computerized impressions. “We are a very progressive highly-trained dental team who make a point of attending ongoing continuing education dental courses to learn the newest techniques to improve the quality of dental care we can provide to our patients”.
In her free time Yvonne loves to travel, garden, read, and paint! She resides in Hunter River.

Emily Tierney (Dental Assistant Level II/Reception)
When she’s not at work Emily loves spending time outdoors with her little girl.
Emily loves working with what she feels is a great group of people at Rochford Family Dental. She says that staff are here to serve patients’ needs and she’s happy to be part of that environment. She’s eager to welcome you to Rochford Family Dental!
Paulette Soloman (Office Manager)
Paulette Soloman grew in up in the seaside community of Souris, PEI. A graduate of UPEI, Dalhousie University, and George Washington University, she was fortunate to work as a manager and consultant in a number of business and culture-related fields, including tourism, major events management, book publishing, and post-secondary education. She also spent a number of years at home with her two children, occasionally working part-time in a local medical office.
Paulette now thoroughly enjoys her part-time role at Rochford Family Dental, helping to keep things running smoothly for the benefit of the dentists, staff, and patients.
When away from the office Paulette loves biking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys contributing to her community and has been involved in a number of community organizations. She is currently a member of the Finance Committee for the Town of Stratford.
Emma MacDonald (Dental Assistant, Level II)
Emma completed her Dental Assistant training at Holland College in January 2016 and immediately joined Rochford Family Dental. She chose a career in the dental field because she loves the opportunity to help make a difference in peoples' lives, starting with their smiles.
A native of Hunter River, Emma is also the head of Women's Field Lacrosse for PEI. In addition, she enjoys longboarding, music, cooking, and of course those PEI beaches!
Emma wants people to know that we have friendly and accommodating staff in a beautiful office setting in Old Charlottetown.
Roberta Jay (Dental Hygienist)
Roberta offers a great experience in her role, as both as graduate of the Dalhousie University Dental Hygiene program and also previously as a Dental Assistan for four years.
She also has additional training in UltrasonicInstrumentation and Local Anesthetic from UBC. Roberta grew up in Kinkora, PEI and spent several years working in BC before moving back to be closer to her family and enjoy the PEI beaches in the summer. She now calls Stratford home, where she loves to spend her spare time with her daughter and friends. The outdoors calls her in all season to stay active especially to jog, snowshoe, and snowboard!

Jessica Smith (Dental Hygienist)
Jessica has been intrigued by every aspect of the dental profession since wiggling out her first baby tooth many years ago! She began her career training at UPEI where she completed her Bachelor of Science with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Biology, in 2014. She then attended Oulton College in Moncton, earning a Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2016, and completing additional training in Local Anesthetic and Self-Initiation for Dental Hygienists. She was awarded the Hu-Friedy Clinical Excellence Award at Oulton College.
Jessica is dedicated to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for each patient. She believes that a person's smile and oral health play a significant role in their overall health and self-confidence, and is proud to play a part in helping people achieve these outcomes.
Jessica grew up in rural Glenwood, in Western PEI and recently moved to Stratford. She enjoys beach walks, kayaking, snowboarding, and spending time with her family and friends.
In her own words, Jessica feels that "Rochford Family Dental treats each of its patients as unique individuals who receive the best treatment possible designed for their specific needs. The friendly staff are trained with the newest technologies and dedicate hours into continuing education courses in order to provide quality service. We have built a team of dental professionals who genuinely care about each of our patients and who are devoted to follow through with each individual's treatment plan from start to finish until the desired outcome is reached."
